This morning was Orientation Day ... and I was so excited for it to come!  All the hard work I did this summer was truly worth it when I saw the look on my students' and parents' faces as they walked into my door today!

It's almost August!

Where oh where did the summer go?  It seems like just yesterday I was up at school working in my classroom ... oh wait, it WAS just yesterday!  With my "loop" to first grade, I have spent most of the summer at school cleaning out the cabinets, shelves, and closet in my new room, packing up my old room, moving everything across campus, and unpacking everything in my new room!  Now that the "move" part is over, the fun part begins--decorating!  Be sure to stop by my new classroom and say hello ...
